This was the title of the article that I wrote in February 2009 pointing the way to the work I would be developing in the next years, concerning the Cávado river valley: the effort to understand its territory and eventually to achive the finding of traces of identity, somewhat inspired by the work carried away by the Laboratori de Urbanisme directed by Manuel de Sola-Morales in Barcelona, along the 70’s. Foi este o título do artigo que escrevi em Fevereiro de 2009, e que apontou a direcção do trabalho que viria a desenvolver nos anos seguintes a respeito do vale do rio Cávado, num esforço para entender o seu território e eventualmente conseguir discernir traços de identidade. A tarefa foi inspirada pelo trabalho levado a cabo pelo Laboratori de Urbanisme dirigido por Manuel de Sola Morales em Barcelona nos anos 70. (…)
